Pressure Compensated Adjustable Flow control valve PLUS PWM POTENTOMETER

This is a US made Hydraulic Pressure Compensated Adjustable Flow control valve (suits 12v or 24v).

This item would suit any application where there is the need to vary the flow of the oil, thereby adjusting the speed of the function. ie, a spinning brush, blade that runs from a hydraulic motor or water cart.

The function can be switched on, & with a potentiometer used in your cab to speed up or slow the oil flow rate / speed.

This US made valve has three ports, pressure in, controlled flow out, & the 3rd port must be plumbed back to tank to drop excess flow.

The potentiometer is good for both 12v & 24v systems.

It is best to use correct flow range for best results.(please see options from drop down menu)

Please note, standard these valve DO NOT have a inbuilt relief valve. It is an optional extra

Flow out of the controlled "Flow Port" can be varied between 0 and XX Lt/minute depending on model. (Please select from drop down menu.)

Any remaining flow will be bypassed to the " E, Excess Flow" port

This "Excess Flow" can just return to tank.

Once the "R", Regulated Flow has been adjusted and set it will remain nearly constant whether pressure changes on either the regulated or Excess flow ports.

It should be noted that whenever these valves are used to bypass or restrict flow heat will be generated.

Please ensure that if oil temperature exceeds a constant 65 degrees Celsius coolers may need to be installed.

It has a 200 Bar (3000 PSI) maximum operating pressure

Pressure compensated. Once set, it maintains constant speed regardless of load variation.

STANDARD 3-PORT allows for pressure compensated flow out of the CF and EX ports.

OPTIONAL 2-PORT allows for pressure compensated flow out of CF port.

2-PORT- The 2-port (2P) option is a modified version of the standard 3-port EFC. This option lets the customer use the control flow port while the excess port is plugged. A special compensator spool was designed to eliminate hunting that can occur between pressure compensated valves and pumps. To use the EFC 2-port a pressure compensated pump is required. The 2-port can be converted to a 3-port (by removing the EX plug), but it will not have the same characteristics as the standard 3-port. (See chart on next page for 2-port EFC

FREE REVERSE FLOW- The free reverse flow option was designed to be used primarily where cylinders and motors are needed to go in reverse. The flow can only go in reverse from controlled flow (CF) to the inlet (IN). Flow is not metered when it goes in reverse. The steel ball seat inside the compensator spool is heat treated to assure a long life.
