Everything that runs at 10,000 psi (700 bar), in one place. This is the high-force end of hydraulics – the gear that lifts a bridge girder, presses a bearing, pulls a coupling or stretches a cable. Because the pressure is ten times a normal machine circuit, every component here is built and rated for it: no ordinary hose, coupler or gauge belongs in a 700 bar line.
Work through it in the order you would build the circuit. Start with the cylinder or ram – that decides your tonnage, your stroke and how much oil you need. Then pick a pump that holds more usable oil than the cylinder swallows: a hand pump if you have no power on site, an air pump if you have a compressor and want speed. Finish with a hose and couplers rated above your working pressure.
