Every 700 bar circuit needs something to say where the oil goes, and something to stop it going too far. That is what lives here: directional control valves that send oil to the ram and bring it back, load holding valves that keep it up there, needle and shut off valves that meter the return, and relief and regulator valves that cap the pressure before the cylinder or the fitting finds the limit for you.

Three things worth knowing before you choose. A spool in neutral is not a lock – every directional valve leaks a little across the spool, so if the load must stay put, use a model with built in pilot operated check valves or fit a separate load holding valve. A relief valve and a regulator are not the same thing: a relief only acts above its setting, a regulator actively holds the downstream pressure where you set it. And a valve is never a substitute for mechanical support – put steel under the load before anyone goes near it.
