Youli SN6 Sectional Directional Control Valve - 1 to 12 Sections - 140 L/min

The SN6 is Youli Taiwan's mid-size sectional valve — 140 L/min at 315 bar, 3/4" BSPP work ports with a full 1" BSPP tank port, and an adjustable main relief (25–315 bar range, factory set 120 bar) in the inlet. Load check valves in every section, port relief cavities in every section. The workhorse for garbage compactors, larger excavators, tippers and any machine moving big cylinders quickly.

What comes as standard

Every valve is supplied with S3 cylinder (double acting) spools, spring centred, an adjustable main relief, and port relief cavities machined in every section. That is the configuration most jobs want, and it is what the price shown covers.

Options are fitted, not bolted on later. Motor spools, single acting spools, detent kits, joystick (2-spool) controls, pneumatic and hydraulic pilot actuators, microswitch kits, anti-shock and anti-cavitation port valves are all available per section — they change the part number, so tell us what you need and we will build and quote the exact valve.

Power beyond: the outlet is open centre (M3) as standard; a power beyond conversion plug (M8) lets you feed a second valve downstream. Order it if you are daisy-chaining valves — teeing the tank line instead is the classic way to blow the seals out of the first valve.

How to Choose

1. Count your functions. One lever per service — a compactor with lift, sweep and gate needs 3 sections.
2. Check your flow. Above 140 L/min continuous, step up to the SN8 (220 L/min) below.
3. Pick spools per service — cylinder spools standard; motor spools for hydraulic motors (call us).
4. Protect the shocky services. Anti-shock and anti-cav valves screw into the port cavities per section — worth it on anything with inertia.

Technicians Advice

Set the relief before the valve earns its keep. It ships at 120 bar — almost certainly not your system pressure. Set it with a gauge on the inlet, against the weakest component in the circuit, never by feel. Respect the 25 bar tank port limit: run the 1" return full-bore through a properly sized return filter — back pressure on T adds straight onto the spool effort and the seals. Adding sections later? The SN6 is a stud-and-nut stack: torque the studs evenly in stages, corner to corner, with new section seals, or the spools will bind. Levers heavy at high pressure? That is what the joystick, pneumatic and hydraulic pilot options are for — retrofit kits exist for every section.
