How to choose

• Match your pump: up to 80 L/min through this valve – typical 2-stage splitter pumps are well inside that.
• Wood that varies? The kickout pressure is adjustable – set it just above your hardest split.
• Want auto return on the backstroke too? Ask us about detent-return setups.

Technicians Advice

Set the kickout roughly 10-15% above the pressure your hardest logs need – too close and it kicks out mid-split, too high and it never releases and you are back to babysitting the lever.

If the valve kicks out instantly on every stroke, the cartridge is set below your relief: wind the kickout up or the relief down so there is daylight between them. And plumb the tank line straight back to tank through the 3/4" port – log splitters cycle constantly, and back-pressure through an undersized return is what kills seals on these valves.
