Inline One way Hydraulic Check Valve available in many sizes from 1/4" to 2" BSPP pressures from 250 to 400 bar with various check valve cracking pressures from 0.5 to 6 bar.

Oil flows from: 15 Lt/min for 1/4" Check Valve to 450 Lt/min for 2" Check Valve.

Suitable for use in Marine, Automotive and Industrial hydraulic applications.

Check valves, also known as non-return valves or one-way valves: are important components across various industries to regulate the flow of fluids or gases in a single direction. These valves are crucial in preventing back or reverse flow, which can cause equipment damage, process disruptions, or safety hazards.

In automotive and aerospace applications, check valves regulate the flow of fuel, oil, or hydraulic fluids to prevent backflow, ensuring that fluids flow in the intended direction. They are commonly used in fuel systems, braking systems, and hydraulic systems in vehicles and aircraft, protecting vital components from damage and ensuring smooth operations.

Check Valves and Safety

Check valves are especially critical in situations involving heavy-duty vehicles, such as work trucks with elevated work platforms or emergency vehicles. These valves help maintain hydraulic system pressure during downtime or emergency operations, preventing backflow or back pressure that could damage emergency pumps.

Emergency Pumps: On work trucks, emergency pumps serve as backups to the main hydraulic pumps. If the main pumps fail, these emergency pumps are activated to perform critical functions, like lowering the work platform. A check valve ensures that the hydraulic fluid flows only in one direction, protecting the emergency pump from backflow and potential damage. Additionally, check valves help prevent contamination by blocking foreign particles from entering the hydraulic system, ensuring pumps and other components operate reliably during emergency situations.

Hydraulic Line Rupture Protection: If a hydraulic line ruptures, check valves installed on the hydraulic lift cylinder of elevated work platforms prevent the platform from suddenly dropping, thus reducing the risk of injury to personnel or damage to surrounding objects.
This safety feature is crucial for maintaining stability and preventing accidents.

As mentioned above inline hydraulic check valves allow the free flow of oil in one direction only: and totally block and prevent oil flow in the other or reverse direction.

Standard supply is with a 0.5 BAR / (7 psi) check valve spring cracking pressure: however 3, 4.5 & 6 bar check valve spring cracking pressures are also available.

These check valves all have BSPP Female threads with sizes 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" also available with one Male and One Female Thread
