Hydraulic 6000 Series Pto Speed Increase Gearbox Only, No Pump

This Brand new Italian-made P.T.O gearbox is ready for your own group 2 DIN mt pump to be fitted. We also have a listing with several pump sizes as a package. Used to power hydraulic Auger, front-end loaders, mowers, rotary sweepers, etc.
These aluminium gearbox housings and hardened steel internal gears are used mainly for connecting hydraulic pumps to the power take-offs of agricultural tractors.

The standardised PTO output of either 540 or 1,000 rpm, is, in this way, increased to optimum operating speeds for the hydraulic pumps. This gearbox and pump offer either direct or remote mounting options to the tractor P.T.O to provide independent hydraulic service.

This has a choice of either Male or Female 1-3/8" 6 splined shafts generic to most PTO output shafts.

Please note. This size Gearbox is rated to 10KW power internally, you must look at Flow/Psi/KW chart to ensure you do not over-spec this set-up.
40 Lpm @ 1800 psi is the most flow, the pressure this size gearbox can reliably sustain. Warranty is void if run at over 1800Psi with a pump larger than 20cc. If more flow is required, please check our next size-up gearbox

Male, female, or female with lock?

Male takes a female driveshaft yoke. Female slips over a male tractor stub. Female with lock adds a push-collar quick release, so the shaft can be pulled off by hand without tools — worth it on an implement that comes on and off regularly.

Input is 1-3/8" 6-tooth on every box in this range, the standard tractor PTO spline.

The coupling is a separate part

Gearboxes do not include the pump coupling. Timalco supply them separately and it is the single most commonly missed item on a PTO order — the box arrives and the pump will not mount. Add the right one for your pump:

Oil: SAE 90 gear oil or Universal Tractor Transmission Oil. Rotation: clockwise viewed from the input shaft — running one backwards will destroy it.
