The big VMDR body — 120 L/min in 3/4" or 1" BSPP — protects group 3 gear pump circuits, orbital motor drives and truck hydraulics. Direct acting, adjustable across the spring range, Italian made.
Use the dropdowns above to pick your port size and pressure spring — choose the spring so your working pressure lands in the middle of its range, not at either end.
| Ports | Max Flow | Spring Range | Part Number |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3/4 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 10 to 100 bar | VMDR120-340C1 |
| 3/4 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 20 to 250 bar | VMDR120-340C2 |
| 3/4 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 40 to 350 bar | VMDR120-340C3 |
| 1 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 10 to 100 bar | VMDR120-100C1 |
| 1 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 20 to 250 bar | VMDR120-100C2 |
| 1 inch BSPP | 120 L/min | 40 to 350 bar | VMDR120-100C3 |
Set it with a gauge, never by feel — and respect the energy: 120 L/min over relief at 250 bar is 50 kW turned straight into heat. Keep the relief teed close to the pump, full-bore, and set 10-15% above working pressure with the setting in the spring's middle third. On motor circuits remember an inline relief protects the supply side only — a spinning load driving the motor needs a crossline relief between the work lines as well.
