How to choose

A plug fills a female port or fitting; a cap covers a male end. Male thread showing = you need a cap; open hole = you need a plug.
Measure the thread outside diameter and match it to the size column – the dash number in brackets is the thread size in 1/16ths of an inch.

Technicians Advice

ORFS seals on the O-ring sitting in the male face groove – inspect it every time and never refit a flattened or nicked ring. Finger tight brings the faces together; a short spanner nip compresses the ring. More torque does nothing but stretch the swivel.
