Sandwich plates that drop between a Cetop directional valve and its subplate, so you get speed control without adding an in-line valve or another hose. Meter in, meter out or throttle on the pump port, in Cetop 3 and Cetop 5.
Ways to buy this valve:
| Mounting and Function | Max Flow | Max Pressure | Part Number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cetop 3 (NG6) - Meter In on A and B | 35 L/min | 210 bar | TCV-02M-W-I |
| Cetop 3 (NG6) - Meter Out on A and B | 35 L/min | 210 bar | TCV-02M-W-O |
| Cetop 3 (NG6) - Throttle on P only | 35 L/min | 210 bar | TV-02M-P |
| Cetop 3 (NG6) - Metered Out of Actuator | 35 L/min | 210 bar | STD-VU-F-C3-A |
| Cetop 3 (NG6) - Z2FS6 Flow Control A and B | 80 L/min | 315 bar | Z2FS6-30-S/S |
| Cetop 5 (NG10) - Meter In on A and B | 70 L/min | 210 bar | TCV-03M-W-I |
| Cetop 5 (NG10) - Meter Out on A and B | 70 L/min | 210 bar | TCV-03M-W-O |
The Z2FS6 is the heavy duty option in the Cetop 3 group: 80 L/min and 315 bar against 35 L/min and 210 bar for the TCV plates, and it comes with the rotating plate so you can flip meter in to meter out on the bench.

The mistake that costs people a second trip is tie rod length. A sandwich plate adds 40 to 50 mm to the stack and the original bolts will not reach, so measure and order longer ones at the same time. Orientation is the other one: these plates are marked A and B and if you spin the plate you swap which service gets metered, which is exactly why the Z2FS6 ships with a rotating plate. Watch the pressure rating on the TCV plates, 210 bar is lower than most Cetop 3 directional valves and lower than a lot of Australian tipper and crane circuits run, so if your relief is set at 250 you want the Z2FS6. Set the screws with the system warm and remember these are not compensated, so a change in load changes the speed.
