Hydraulic Spin On Oil Suction Filter with 90 micron Stainless Steel Mesh Filter rated to flow between:
Hydraulic equipment is generally used and operated in some of the harshest environments around and if damaged they are expensive to replace.
The Long term reliability of hydraulic equipment is greatly enhanced if the Hydraulic Oil is continuously Strained and filtered.
These filters are designed for Suction applications. The head units are available with either (3/4" or 1-1/4" BSPP threads and ports) also available as an option is a Clog gauge. 0 - 30Hg.
These suction filters use a 90 micron Stainless steel mesh net for the filtration media this allows for high suction flows of 100 Lpm to 300 Lpm respectively with minimal pressure drop in the Suction losses.
Please note that the longer the "B" length on the Suction Filter the lower the Suction loss or Pressure Drop.
These Filter and Filter head combinations are Quality items and are manufactured using the latest Filtration materials and technology by FaiFiltri in Italy.
Please note; most hydraulic systems only require RETURN filtration. Suction side filtration can affect clear oil suction to your pumps, ie can cause cavitation leading to premature wear. Ensure the highest flow possible to your pump
Aluminium Alloy Filter Head complete with Vacuum visual gauge plus a "Clogged filter" internal bypass set at 5 PSI and Buna "N" O ring seal,
Two Filter Head options: with Inlet and Outlet ports of either 3/4" (100Lt/min Flow) or 1-1/4" BSPP (300 Lt/min Flow).
On the top of the Filter Head are two M10 x 1.5 threaded holes 38 mm apart for mounting the filter assembly to a bracket or machine framework.
