A BSP swivel female on a 45° swept crimp tail, for taking the hose away at 45° from a BSP port.

This is the tail only – ferrules are sold separately

A two-piece crimp-on assembly is two separate parts: this tail (the stem) and a ferrule that crimps over the hose. The ferrule is not included. You need one ferrule per tail.

We sell them separately on purpose. Several different ferrule styles will fit, and the right one depends on the hose you are crimping onto, not just the size:

• FS‑R2 Multi‑Fit – 1‑wire, 2‑wire, M3K and MXT braided hose. One series covers the lot, so most jobs take this.
• FS‑R7 – thermoplastic 100R7 hose. Different outside diameter and crimp figure to braided hose.
• FS‑R14 – PTFE 100R14 hose with stainless braid.

Thread Standards

• BSP Swivel Female – BSPP to ISO 228 with a 60° internal cone seat, seals on the cone and swivels, so it needs no tape or sealant

How to Choose

• The bend is formed into the tail, so the angle is fixed. Decide which way the hose has to leave the port before you order – you cannot rotate it after it is crimped.
• Seals on the 60° cone and swivels freely.
• A 45° often fixes a routing problem that a 90° over-corrects.

Technicians Advice

Offer the hose up before committing. A bend pointing the wrong way makes the hose fight the fitting for the life of the assembly.
