Choosing the right hydraulic motor is vital for keeping your machinery running smoothly and efficiently. Whether you are working in agriculture, mining, or manufacturing, understanding motor design ensures you get the best performance for your budget.
Gerotor hydraulic motors (short for "Generated Rotor") are the standard choice for light-to-medium duty tasks. They are an excellent option when a compact size and cost-effectiveness are your main priorities. These motors are popular across many industries because they provide reliable power without a high price tag.
The Gerotor design uses a simple internal gear mechanism consisting of a moving inner rotor and a stationary outer ring. The inner gear has one less tooth than the outer ring. As hydraulic fluid flows through the motor, it creates pockets that open and close, turning fluid pressure into steady rotation.
Our range includes the MM, MLHM, MP, MPYN, MLHP, HP, and PL series. These models are engineered to be the most economical option while remaining highly versatile. Because the internal parts slide against each other during operation, these motors are best used in systems with lower continuous pressures to ensure a long service life.
While Gerotor motors are the budget-friendly workhorse of the hydraulic world, they are best suited for high-speed, low-torque tasks. You will commonly find them powering:
| Feature | Gerotor | Geroler | Disc Valve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duty Cycle | Light Duty | Medium Duty | Heavy Duty |
| Efficiency | Moderate | High | Very High |
| Contact Type | Sliding | Rolling | Low-Leakage Disc |
| Best For | Budget projects | Smoothness & Reliability | Extreme Power & Load |
