Critical Commissioning & Setup Tips

1. Pre-Filling with Oil: Before installation, always fill the motor with a premium anti-wear mineral-based hydraulic oil, specifically HLP(DIN 51524) or HM(ISO 6743/4). Operating a "dry" motor can cause immediate internal damage to the fine tolerances.

2. The "Running-In" Period: To ensure the maximum service life of your motor, it must be run-in correctly. Operate the motor at moderate loads and speeds for the initial 10 to 15 minutes before applying full system pressure.

3. Filtration Standards: Cleanliness is vital. We recommend a nominal filtration of 25 microns or better, adhering to ISO cleanliness code 20/16 (ISO 4406-1999)

The M+S MM series hydraulic motors are suitable for many low-speed applications i.e. eliminating gears, shafts, chains, belts, pulleys and other speed reduction components.

All motors are compact and light in weight in proportion to the torque and power delivered, all are fully reversible. These motors are useful where space is tight, high torque & low speed are required.

These come with 3/8" BSPP threaded side or rear ports.
