The M+S MR Series is a roll-Geroler hydraulic motor — the gear set carries rollers on the star instead of fixed lobes, which cuts internal friction, lifts the continuous pressure rating to 175 bar on most sizes and gives noticeably smoother torque at crawl speeds than a plain Gerotor. It is the direct bolt-on replacement for the Danfoss OMR, Bosch Rexroth MGR/GMR, Brevini BRE, White WR (255) and Zhenjiang BMR.

M+S Hydraulic has been engineering hydraulic motors in Europe since 1963. If your machine needs more than a Gerotor can give — higher pressure, longer duty cycles, slow-speed loads — the MR frame is the step up without changing your mounting.

Technician's Advice

Gerotor or Geroler? If your duty cycle is light and intermittent, the MP Gerotor does the job for less money. The MR earns its premium on machines that run all day, run slow under load, or run near the pressure limit — the rollers are what stops the gear set scuffing in exactly those conditions.

Needle bearings. The MRN needle-bearing version is a factory order for side-loaded shafts — sprockets, pulleys, chain drives. Use the quote form and we will price it same-day.

Case drain. Always connect the case drain to tank with minimal back pressure — a blocked or missing drain line is the number one killer of shaft seals on orbital motors.

Running in. Fill with clean fluid and run at moderate load for 5 to 10 minutes before full pressure.

Because we sell solid steel components — cylinders, pumps, motors, fittings, and hose assemblies — freight costs reflect real weight and real distance. Hydraulic components are manufactured from solid steel. A single motor can weigh between 6 and 10 kg depending on displacement. Freight costs vary by product weight, dimensions, and your delivery location. We have negotiated the best available carrier rates for our volume and absorb a portion of freight cost on every order.

Out of Stock Policy

It is our intention to maintain active stock on every listed item at all times. On rare occasions, due to high demand or supply constraints, a size may be temporarily unavailable. If this occurs, you will be notified immediately and offered the choice of a full refund or a short wait for incoming stock — typically 3 to 14 days.

Two things to know before you order. The 200 bar (U) seal cannot be fitted together with needle bearings - pick one or the other, and if both are selected we will ring you before the order ships. And seal kits follow your mount and seal, not just the series: a standard 150 bar MR takes MR-SKD, the square-mount version takes MRQ-SKD, and 200 bar motors take MR-SKU or MRQ-SKU.
