Filters are usually installed in the low-pressure tank return line: and generally just before the oil returns to the tank. 25 microns is ideal for most agricultural-type hydraulics. It provides good flow.

For protecting the Pump 90 Micron Suction: Filters should also used to Strain out large particles before they are ingested into the tight tolerances of the pump.

• Aluminium Alloy Filter Head with 3/4" BSPP Ports
  Complete with a "Clogged filter" internal bypass set at either 0.3 or 1.7 Bar (5 or 25 psi)
  The filter head has two 1/8" BSPT ports available to mount an optional "clogging indicator"
  On the top of the Filter Head are two M6 threaded holes 38 mm apart for mounting the filter assembly to a bracket or machine framework.

• Dial Type Clogging Indicators are an Option
