Disc Valve hydraulic motors represent the highest performance tier in the orbital motor family.
Where Gerotor and Geroler motors use a spool valve to direct hydraulic fluid, the Disc Valve motor uses a separate, precision-engineered valve plate. This fundamental design difference allows the motor to handle significantly higher operating pressures, heavier radial loads, and more demanding continuous-duty cycles than either of the spool valve designs.
The Disc Valve motor retains the orbital gear set of the Geroler design but replaces the spool valve with a dedicated disc valve plate.
This plate rotates in precise synchronisation with the rotor, directing high-pressure fluid to the correct chambers at exactly the right moment in the cycle.
The result is dramatically reduced internal leakage, higher volumetric efficiency, and the ability to sustain peak torque output even at very low shaft speeds — performance characteristics that spool valve motors simply cannot match at high pressure.
Our range includes the MS, MT, MV, MTM, MLHS, MLHT, MLHV, and MYZ series. These motors are direct replacements for Danfoss OMS, OMT, and OMV series motors, as well as Eaton Char-Lynn 2000, 4000, 6000, and 10000 series units.
The MYZ series covers specialist two-speed and high-displacement applications including swing drives and heavy winch systems.
