Technicians Advice

Connect the case drain to tank - a blocked or missing drain is the number one killer of shaft seals on orbital motors. Grease the splines lightly on assembly; a dry spline frets under reversing loads. Run the motor at moderate load for the first 5-10 minutes before full pressure, and check the mounting bolts after the first day of work.
