The Badestnost Z50 is a heavy-duty, European-made monoblock directional control valve built for open and closed centre hydraulic systems.
This four-spool version gives you independent manual control over four separate hydraulic functions from a single compact valve block — well suited to excavators, multi-function loaders, industrial machinery, and any application where four circuits need to be controlled efficiently.
Rated for continuous operation at 40 L/min with a nominal maximum capacity of 50 L/min, and built to handle system pressures up to 315 bar (4,600 psi), this valve delivers solid, reliable performance in demanding professional environments.

How It Works
Each of the four spools has its own independent spring-return lever. Push or pull each lever to direct oil to the corresponding cylinder or motor, and release to spring back to the neutral (centre) position, locking the load in place. All four levers can be operated simultaneously or independently.
A built-in adjustable pressure relief valve is factory set to 180 bar and protects your entire circuit from pressure spikes. A load check valve on the P port prevents back-flow and unintended load movement when all levers are in neutral.
Individual Load Check Valves The 4-spool Z50 is the largest body size available with individual load check valves per spool. This option prevents one circuit from back-feeding into another, and is recommended where two or more functions need to hold loads independently at different pressures. Individual load checks are not available on the 5 or 6-spool versions — if this feature is critical to your application, the 4-spool is the right choice.
Power Beyond Port (N) The N port allows a downstream valve to be connected for series circuit operation.
Please Note : When a Power Beyond sleeve (C2) if fitted to open this port. A dedicated tank return line must also always be used.
Spool Options
Each of the four levers can be configured independently. Select a spool type for each lever from the dropdown menus above:
Cylinder Spool (Standard — Spool A) Double-acting, 3-position. Work ports A & B closed in neutral. Best for hydraulic cylinders and rams where load holding is required.
Motor Spool (Spool D) Double-acting, 3-position. Work ports A & B open to tank in neutral. Best for hydraulic motors — allows coasting to a stop rather than abrupt locking.
Single Acting — P to A (Spool B) Oil directed to Port A only. Port B plugged. For single-acting cylinders with spring or gravity return.
Single Acting — P to B (Spool C) Oil directed to Port B only. Port A plugged. Reverse of Spool B configuration.
Cylinder Spool + Detent Cylinder spool with 3-position detent. Lever holds position without constant operator input.
Motor Spool + Detent Motor spool with detent. Suitable for continuous motor operation without lever hold.
