The Badestnost Z50 is a heavy-duty, European-made monoblock directional control valve designed for open and closed centre hydraulic systems.

This three-spool version gives you independent manual control over three separate hydraulic functions — ideal for tractors, front-end loaders, excavators, and other mobile plant where multiple attachments or circuits need to be operated from a single valve block.

Rated for continuous operation at 40 L/min with a nominal maximum capacity of 50 L/min, and built to withstand system pressures up to 315 bar (4,600 psi), this valve delivers the performance and reliability expected in professional agricultural and construction applications.

How It Works

Each of the three spools has its own independent spring-return lever. Push or pull each lever to direct oil to the corresponding cylinder or motor, then release to spring back to neutral, locking the load in place. All three levers can be operated at the same time or individually — giving you full simultaneous control of multiple functions.

A built-in adjustable pressure relief valve is factory set to 180 bar and protects your entire circuit from overpressure. A load check valve on the P port prevents back-flow and unintended load movement when all levers are in neutral.

The 3-spool model is also available with individual load check valves per spool, which stops one circuit from back-feeding into another — particularly useful where two or more functions hold loads independently at different pressures.

Float Function — Loader and Attachment Applications

An optional Float spool is available on any or all of the three levers. The float function adds a fourth lever position where the work ports are opened to tank, allowing an attached implement — such as a loader bucket, mower deck, or slasher — to rise and fall freely with the contours of the ground without operator input.

The float position is held by a detent so the operator does not need to hold the lever. To exit float, simply return the lever through centre. This is a popular configuration on tractors and loaders where ground-following implements are used alongside other controlled functions.
