Hose Burst safety valves or velocity valves will hold a load and stop oil flow if the flow past the valve exeeds a certain rate.
By law, it is mandatory to have a steel on steel Safety valve installed on cylinders in case of a hose being ripped off, & the load dropping.
This is one burst valve that fits any of our 2" - 5" bore rams. You can simply screw it in, & then attach a 3/4" JIC female hose end.
