Certified Australian Made, assembled at Tuff Manufacturing's Queensland factory from materials sourced exclusively within Australia. Backed by a 2-year warranty and individually oil tested before dispatch.
All-steel double-acting cylinder, 2.5" bore, 1.5" hard chrome rod, female clevis with 1" high tensile steel pin and spring steel R-clip retainers at both ends.
Producing up to 6.6 tonnes push force extending and 4.3 tonnes pull force retracting at 3,000 PSI (207 bar) — actual force depends on stroke length (see chart below).
This cylinder can also be used as a single-acting ram (e.g. gravity pull or push down). Dual 3/4" UNO ports at each end give more options for connecting in tight spots.
Click here for a Counterbalance Valve and Pipe Kit — factory installed when ordered with a cylinder — for added control and AS1418.8-relevant safety Or order directly from this listing.
Australian Tax Invoice and 2-year warranty included on every order.
WARNING: Hydraulic cylinders without a hose burst valve, pilot-operated check valve, or counterbalance valve mounted directly to the cylinder do not meet Australian Standard AS1418.8, nor occupational health & safety rules.
Maximum safe push/pull force drops as stroke length increases.
Example:
Maximum retraction force for this size is a constant 4.3 tonnes (207 bar), regardless of stroke — see note above on confirming this figure against your specifications data.
See the maximum force chart in the listing photos for your exact stroke length.
Conversions: 1 kN = 102 kgf = 225 lbf · 1 bar = 14.5 psi

Every wear component in this cylinder carries a named material spec and a tested performance figure — here's the breakdown.
Each cylinder is individually oil tested at the factory before dispatch and backed by a 2-year warranty — the same material and seal specs above are what stand behind day-to-day use in earthmoving, transport, and farm equipment.
We can supply cylinders in many bore, stroke, and port orientations — send us a question for different sizes and costings.
Many adaptor threads, hydraulic hose, and field-fit hose fittings also available — see our other listings.
Re-seal kits also available.
Suited to hydraulic applications across industry, manufacturing, transport, and farming — including tilt tray and skip bin trucks, front end loaders, backhoes, tractors, farm implements, and log splitters.
Comes complete with a female clevis at each end.
