This is a brand-new high-quality directional valve. This is special in that it comes with a DC Microswitch, which means you can wire up to a 12 V or 24 V DC powerpack, to make it turn on/off only when you pull the lever. This is best for DC power packs, as they create a lot of Amp draw, & heat. Ideally, you want them to only run when needed. This micro switch does that. It is designed to control one individual function or cylinder.
There are a few options in these.
D/A, double-acting = powerpack turns on & drives oil both up & down.
S/A, Single-acting, microswitch only turns the powerpack on in the Up direction
Float, turns the powerpack on both up & down, but push the lever all the way down, it 'Detents' (Stays held on), the powerpack stays off, & oil can 'free flow' to ram, allowing for 'Float' ie cylinder is not locked.
These valves are regularly used in hydraulic circuits to divert the flow of high-pressure oil and are typically used to control the speed and movement of hydraulic cylinders or motors.
