Manufactured by Badestnost, this is a durable, heavy-duty designed monoblock control valve specifically engineered for wood splitting applications
This high-performance unit features a spring-to-centre mechanism from position 2 to position 0, and a detent in position 1 with a pressure release functionality known as "kick out".
What the above means is: you hold the lever to split the timber, then push the lever fully back into the detent position. The valve stays engaged while the ram retracts, and once it hits the preset pressure, the spool is automatically centred back to the neutral position
To set up the valve correctly, connect the B Port to the rod end of the cylinder. Connect the A port to the base port of the ram.
If you need to adjust the main pressure relief, remove the acorn nut and turn the adjusting screw.
Turning the adjusting screw clockwise will increase the pressure, while turning it counterclockwise will decrease the pressure
Technician’s Advice
For optimal operation and longevity, ensure your hydraulic fluid remains clean. The permissible degree of fluid contamination for this valve is 19/16 - ISO 4406[cite: 28].
When the spool is moved into the detent position, oil is directed to work port B[cite: 154]. When the system pressure matches the preset kick-out pressure, the spool is released from the detent and safely moves to the neutral position[cite: 154].
We ship hydraulic components across Australia from warehouses in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia. Because we sell solid steel components — cylinders, pumps, motors, fittings, and hose assemblies — freight costs reflect real weight and real distance. We do not hide freight costs in inflated product prices. What you see is what you pay.
Hydraulic components are manufactured from solid steel. A single cylinder, pump, or motor can weigh 20–150kg. Australia is a large country. We ship from three warehouse locations — QLD, NSW, and WA — and fulfillment comes from the location with available stock, not always the closest to you. This means freight costs vary by product weight, dimensions, and your location. We have negotiated the best carrier rates available for our volume, and we absorb a portion of the freight cost on every order.
