Manually operated, lever-actuated 6-way 2-position selector valve. Cast iron body machined at Oilpath's new Adelaide facility in South Australia , hardened alloy steel spool with chrome/electroless nickel plating. Valve Body Finish Hand honed for the absolute minimum amount of Leakage. Pressure Rated to 210 bar (3,000 psi) working pressure with an 840 bar (12,000 psi) casting shock rating, and 118 L/min (26 GPM) rated oil flow.
The OP80 doesn't control flow rate or actuator speed — it's a directional switch that routes pressure from one pump to one of two separate downstream circuits.
Because the spool shifts all six ports together as one ganged unit, you get a full pressure-and-return swap between two circuits from a single lever throw — no second pump and no extra plumbing runs.
Two circuits each need a supply and a return line, plus the pump feed and tank line:
Internally, a shuttle-type spool with a sleeve / land arrangement redirects these six connections as it shifts, with a detent to hold the spool in each selected position.

Handle linkage is repositionable, so orientation can be adjusted to suit cab or panel layout on different machines.
Problem: Mick's excavator has no spare hydraulic circuit to run a newly fitted rock grab rotator.
Solution: An OP80 diverter valve repurposes an existing, less-used function — in this case the boom swing circuit — to also drive the rotator, without adding a second pump or re-plumbing the machine.
Components used:
Install steps:
Operation:
Result: independent control of boom swing and rock grab rotator from a single existing circuit — the boom swing locks solid while the rotator is in use, and reverts to normal boom control once the lever is flipped back. This is a general-purpose technique: any underused function (not just boom swing) can be repurposed the same way to add a circuit for grapples, tilt buckets, augers, or other attachments.
Construction equipment, material handling, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing hydraulic systems needing an extra function added to a fixed-circuit machine.
