Hydraulic Pressure Switch with 1/8" BSPT male Thread, available in Various Pressure Ranges from 0.1-1 bar to 100-300 bar, Switch can be ordered "Normally Open" NO or Normally Closed NC, Max Switching Voltage 48 Volts AC or DC or Less.
Pressure Switches are commonly used to turn on or off a hydraulic system's electrical function when the correct or desired pressure is reached.
There are 2 different models of Hydraulic Pressure Switch in this range:
Eco low voltage 48 Volt model:
The economical type Hydraulic pressure switches are available to Switch up to 48 V AC or DC & are available to order in normally open (NO) or normally closed NC. These are available in 12 different pressure ranges with either Normally Open or Normally Closed Contactors.
The Pressure range on the Eco model is adjustable using a Flat Head Screwdriver
The Bottom pressure connection thread is a 1/8" BSPT male.
High Voltage 250 Volt AC model:
These are more versatile Hydraulic pressure switches and are available to Switch up to 250 Volts AC & are available to order in two pressure ranges 8 - 150 bar or 40 - 400 bar. They have built in normally open and normally closed contactors
The Pressure range on the 250 V AC model is adjustable by turning by hand a knurled Knob
The Bottom pressure connection thread is a 1/4" BSPP Female.
Depending on the pressure: These pressure switches will either use a internal Piston design for pressures of 50 bar and above and for pressure less than 50 bar, a more sensitive Diaphragm design is utilised.
Brief Explanation of Normally Open and Normally Closed.
Normally Open, the contact is open, This means there is no flow of electrical current in the absence of pressure.
When the desired set pressure setting is reached, the pressure switch contacts "Close" to allow the Flow of electrical Current.
Normally Closed: Contacts are "Closed" & the electrical current can flow or is present on the external contacts. When the set pressure is reached, the electrical contact "Opens" and interrupts or prevents the flow of electrical current.
Pressure Ratings = Multiple ranges available from 0.1 -1 bar to 100 - 300 bar
