The N Series SAE Code 62 Flange: is a professional-grade, one-piece "Crimp On" hydraulic hose tail specifically engineered for the most demanding ultra-high-pressure environments.

These fittings are manufactured to match the performance requirements of SAE 100R15 multi-spiral hydraulic hose, comfortably handling working pressures up to 420 bar (6,100 psi).

Utilising a Non-Skive design:, these fittings allow for a high-integrity connection without requiring the removal of the hose's outer cover.

Technician’s Advice

When upgrading or replacing SAE Code 62 Flange fittings, it is vital to replace the two-piece flange clamp sets.

Because Code 62 systems operate at significantly higher pressures than Code 61, the clamps are subject to extreme mechanical stress. Reusing old clamps that have "stretched" or suffered from microscopic stress fractures and bruising can result in an uneven seal on the O-ring, leading to catastrophic failure.

Always ensure you are using Grade 12.9 high-tensile bolts and tighten them to the correct torque specification in a diagonal sequence.
