How to choose

• Count your functions – one spool per ram or motor. Tipper + tailgate = 2 spool. Crane with slew, luff and winch = 3 spool.
• Check your pump flow – this valve is right at home from 40 to 80 L/min. Under 60 L/min, our Q45 saves you money; over 80, step up to the 120 L/min range.
• Driving a hydraulic motor? Call us – we fit motor spools and remove the load check (a must with over-running loads).
• Two valves off one pump? Add the power beyond sleeve from the Spares & Options listing.

Technicians Advice

The Q75 is our pick for tilt trays, truck cranes and any 4-cylinder-tractor-and-up implement running a decent pump. The 3/4" tank port matters more than people think – it keeps back pressure down on long return runs, which is what makes spring-return spools actually return. Set the relief 10–15% above your working pressure, not at the max. If the valve will be electric or air operated down the track, buy it manual now and add the solenoid or pneumatic actuators later – every bank on this valve is convertible, that is the whole point of the Galtech system. Not sure between 3 and 4 spools? Buy 4 – nobody has ever complained about a spare bank.
