CHARLIE Pendant Control Station – 2 Button, E-Stop and Loomed Options, Made in Europe

The CHARLIE is a compact European-made 2-button pendant station for hydraulic power units, hoists and workshop machines. Buy it bare (fit your own control wiring – contacts rated to 250 V AC) or pre-loomed for 10–50 V DC power packs with a 3 metre cord and DIN 43650A coil plugs, wired and tested. IP65, double insulated, modular switch elements.

How to choose

Power pack with DIN plugs on the coils, 12–48 V DC? Take a loomed version – plug in and go.
Controlling contactors, a 240/415 V starter or a PLC input? Take a bare station and wire the contacts into the control circuit.
Anything a person can stand under gets the E-stop version. Cheap insurance.

Technicians Advice

The bare CHARLIE switches CONTROL current, not motor current – run it into a contactor coil or solenoid, never through the DC motor feed of a power pack (that is 100-plus amps and will weld the contacts shut first press). On the loomed DC versions the DIN plugs land straight on the valve coils and the station triggers the pack’s start solenoid – check your pack has a low-current trigger terminal before ordering; most Mocen-pattern DC units do. The E-stop is a latching break in the common: twist to release. If a customer reports a “dead station”, that latch is the first thing to check.
