Hi-Lo Log Splitter Pump with Bell Housing and couplers for 20 HP (15 kW) Honda or equivalent engine.

This is high quality, cast iron hydraulic log splitter pump and is supplied as kit with an Aluminium bell housing & 2 Drive Couplings and rubber .
Kit comes complete ready-to-bolt-on.
(Please note No bolts are Supplied with this kit)

The bellhousing & couplers are supplied to fit to Honda engine with a 1" diameter shaft (Honda motors & most copies off the Honda Motor).

This Hi-Lo pump requires a minimum of 20 HP. to produce 100 Lt/min at 80 Bar 1,150 psi)

This pump is a Hi-Lo unit, which means it closes your blade quickly with 100 Lt/min and, and then produces maximum PSI of 3,000 psi (at 40 Lt/min) to split the wood.

The Hi/Lo Pump is rated to 3,600 RPM max. This pump requires a minimum of 20 HP.

If not enough HP is available, the pump will not be capable of making high enough pressure (PSI), which in turn creates the high tonnage required. Tonnage will be determined by the Bore size of your ram,

for example,

• A 3" bore log splitter ram will produce 9.4 tonnes of splitting force @ 3,000 psi,
• A 4" bore log splitter ram will produce 16 tonnes of splitting force @ 3,000 psi,
• A 5" bore log splitter ram will produce 26 tonnes of splitting force @ 3,000 psi

PLEASE NOTE; on Petrol and Diesel engines, the stated HP is taken at the flywheel, and you may need to derate your engine HP by 25% of the stated figure for a true HP figure.

Performance Characteristics of Hi/Lo Pump:

With 20 Hp, this Hi Lo pump will produce
in Low pressure: approx. an oil flow of 100 Lt/min @ 3.500 Rpm and a max pressure of 80 Bar (1,150 psi)
and
Will produce in High Pressure: an oil flow of 40 Lpm @ 3.500 Rpm at a pressure of 200 Bar (3,000 psi).
