Water Pumps come in a variety of sizes and the amount of power and speed supplied to them
will affect how much the pump will Flow, Lift, or Push.
In Water Transfer applications flow is Measure in Cubic Meters per Hour and pressure or lift in Meters of Head (lift)
Flow is the volume of water moved (or Pumped) and is normally measured in Cubic meters per Hour.
Lift is also called Suction and means how far or how deep in meters below the pump can it suck up water into its intake port.
Push or pump is how far the pump can push the water up a hill or building in meters this is also called Head.
In High Water Transfer applications flow is Measure in Cubic Meters per Hour and pressure or lift in Meters of Head (lift)
In High Pressure Washing Or Drain Cleaning applications flow is Measured in Litres per Minute and pressure is usually in thousands of PSI.
That is water flow is greatly reduced but the delivery pressure (or resistance to flow) is increased substantially.
