Heavy Duty Top Link Hydraulic Cylinder, Gloss Yellow, 2.5" Bore x 1.5" Rod, 4" to 12" Stroke, 4 Ports Each End, Cat 2 Ball Ends

A heavy duty double acting hydraulic top link for the 3 point linkage. Self-aligning Category 2 ball end bearings at both ends take 1" pins. Each end has four ports spaced around the barrel, so you can plumb the hoses clear of the brackets that crowd a top link mount. Pick your stroke below and it is on its way.

How to choose

• Measure your current top link closed and fully wound out. The hydraulic link needs to cover the same working range.
• Category 2 ends suit 1" top link pins. Check your tractor and implement pins before you order.
• You need a spare double acting remote on the tractor to run it.

Technicians Advice

Use one port at each end and blank the other three with plugs. Fit a pilot operated check valve or lock valve so a heavy implement cannot drag the link out when the tractor valve is in neutral. Route the hoses so they cannot be pinched when the linkage lifts. Keep the rod clean and fully retract it when the tractor is parked.
