Tank Top Return Filters - CFR (Dual Entry) Series

Heavy-duty dual-entry housings - TWO return lines (system return + case drain or cooler return) into one filter. 1/2" BSPP up to a 2-1/2" SAE flange 250 L/min unit. Returning oil is filtered before it re-enters the reservoir, and the element is serviced from above without draining a drop.

Two ways to buy:

Complete Housing - ships with a 10 micron nominal element and 25psi bypass. Bolt in, plumb the return, done.
Replacement Element - pick the row matching YOUR housing size, in 10µm nominal (standard), 25µm nominal (older/high-flow) or 10µm absolute (sensitive valve packages).

How to Choose

Housing: match the port to your return line and cover your full return flow (round UP - returns spike when cylinders retract).
Element: the "suits" column is the one that matters - measure your housing port or check your old element diameter/height against the spec sheet.

Technicians Advice

Change the element at 50 hours on a new system, then every 500 hours or when the clogging indicator reads red at operating temperature. Check the lid O-ring every change - a hard O-ring lets unfiltered oil sneak past. Keep the bypass spring with the housing, not the element, when swapping brands. When running two lines of very different flows, put the bigger line in the straighter port to keep the element loading even.
