Thread Types & Specs

Available in all sizes from 3/16" to 2" in the following Thread Types:

• BSPP (G Thread): British Standard Parallel Pipe, parallel thread commonly used in Australia, seals with a bonded washer, O-ring, or face seal.
• BSPT (R Thread): British Standard Tapered Pipe, tapered thread that seals via thread interference, widely used in general plumbing and hydraulics.
• JIC (37° Flare): Joint Industry Council, uses a 37° flare seating system, very common in Australian hydraulics for high-pressure applications.
• UNF / SAE (ORB): Unified National Fine / SAE O-Ring Boss, straight thread sealed with an O-ring at the port, common in hydraulic equipment.
• NPT: National Pipe Tapered, American tapered thread that seals on the thread itself, used on imported equipment.
• NPTF: National Pipe Tapered Fuel (Dryseal), improved sealing version of NPT, used in high-pressure and fuel systems.
