How to choose

• Size by flow: pick the range where your normal operating flow sits in the middle two-thirds of the scale.
• Check your line size: 30 and 60 L/min kits are 3/4" BSPP; 120 and 200 L/min are 1" BSPP.
• Reversible circuits: this is the kit to use – the reverse-flow check protects the meter if flow direction changes.
• Between two ranges? Call us with your pump displacement and RPM and we will size it for you.

Technicians Advice

On mobile plant and reversible circuits, a standard flow meter is one operator mistake away from a bent indicator piston – the reverse-flow check in the SDMKR is cheap insurance for exactly that moment. Plumb it in during commissioning, note the healthy reading on the service tag, and every service after that is a ten-second glance instead of a guessing game. Like all variable-area meters the scale is calibrated for hydraulic oil at working temperature, so trend your readings like-for-like – same duty, same temperature – and treat any drift beyond about ten percent as a prompt to look at pump wear or relief bypass before it becomes a breakdown.
