Honda petrol engines sized for pressure cleaner pump drive. Every engine here is listed by its shaft, because the shaft is what decides whether your pump will bolt on. A 3/4 inch V generator shaft, a 1 inch threaded P shaft and a 1 inch keyed Q shaft are not interchangeable, and the same GX model is sold in more than one of them.

Work out the power you need before the model. As a rough guide, horsepower is about flow in L/min multiplied by pressure in psi, divided by 2,600, then add a margin so the engine is not working flat out all day. If you are driving through a reduction gearbox rather than direct, check the gearbox drive shaft matches as well. Recoil start suits skid and trolley machines, electric start suits trailers and anything mounted where a pull cord is awkward.
