Hydraulic Test Hose Assembly DN2 – 630 bar – M16x2 Test 20 Ends

The diagnostic lifeline: a DN2 microbore test hose connects any Test 20 / M16x2 test point to your pressure gauge, so you can read a live circuit from a safe, convenient spot. Kevlar-braided microbore hose rated to 630 bar (9,135 psi) working pressure, factory-assembled with M16x2 female swivel ends both ends, in nine stock lengths from half a metre to six metres. Suitable for oil, water and gas circuits.

Fits what you already have: the M16x2 swivel ends connect to any standard M16x2 screw-type test point — STAUFF Test 20, Hydrotechnik Minimess 1620-style, SMK20-pattern and equivalents — so this hose drops straight into existing test points on excavators, cranes, drill rigs, presses and power packs.

How to choose

• 2 metres is the workshop standard — long enough to route from a test point to a gauge you can read at the controls.
• Go longer (4–6m) when the test point lives inside a machine body and you need the gauge at ground level or in the cab.
• The M16x2 ends screw straight onto standard Test 20 / M16x2 test points — no tools, sealed by the internal probe.

Technicians Advice

A test hose lets you take the reading away from the danger zone — stand clear of the articulation point, read the gauge at the controls, and never crack a live fitting to "see if there is pressure". Two habits keep them alive: cap the ends when it lives in the toolbox (the 2mm bore blocks with one grain of grit, and a blocked test hose reads zero on a live circuit — dangerous), and never use the hose to hang or swing the gauge. Microbore also damps needle flutter naturally on long runs, so a bouncing reading often settles just by testing through the hose. Inspect the swivel nuts for thread damage before each use — they are the sealing surface, and a bruised nut weeps at 400 bar.
