High Pressure Hydraulic Filter FHP 135 - 1" BSPP, 420 Bar

In-line pressure filtration that mounts straight after the pump and protects the expensive bits - valves, servo/proportional spools and motors - from pump-generated debris. Rated for 1" lines to 200 L/min, in two body lengths - 260mm (FHP135-1) and 448mm (FHP135-3, double the dirt capacity). Phosphatized cast iron head, steel bowl, 6 bar bypass, fatigue-tested to 1,000,000 pressure cycles.

Two ways to buy:

• Complete Filter - housing with the element already inside. Plumb in and go.
• Replacement Element - the microfibre insert only, for service time. All elements are ABSOLUTE rated (99.9% capture at the stated micron).

Body length: the 448mm housing takes the longer HP1353 elements and roughly doubles service intervals - worth it on high-hour machines.

How to Choose

• Micron: 10µm absolute suits most systems; 3-6µm for servo/proportional valves; 25µm for coarse protection duty.
• Check your working pressure is under the housing rating and your line size matches the ports - an undersized pressure filter is a pressure drop you pay for in heat.

Technicians Advice

Mount vertically, bowl down, and mind the flow arrow on the head. The differential indicator port ships with a T2-H blanking plug - swap it for a DEA/DLA/DVM indicator (below) and you will know exactly when the element is done; on a pressure filter a blocked element bypasses at 6 bar and everything downstream runs on dirty oil.

Crack the bowl slowly at service - it holds pressure. Always fit a new element seal kit ring where supplied. Note FHP135-1 housings take HP1351 elements, FHP135-3 take HP1353 - they do not interchange.
