HL186 Diesel Engine - 10 HP, 3,600 rpm

Single cylinder air cooled diesel engines for pressure cleaners, transfer pumps and skid mounted plant. Diesel earns its keep where a machine runs for hours at a time, where the site already carries diesel for everything else, or where a petrol engine is not welcome. They are heavier and dearer to buy than the petrol equivalent and they pay that back in fuel burn and engine life.

What is in the box

• The 3,000 rpm and 3,600 rpm versions of the HL186 are not interchangeable. Pump speed follows engine speed, so fitting the wrong one changes the flow the machine makes.
• Shaft diameter and profile must match the pump, gearbox or coupling you are bolting to. Measure the shaft on the engine you are replacing before ordering.
• These engines are electric start and need a battery and lead set, which is not supplied with a bare engine.
• Diesel engines are noticeably heavier than the petrol engine they replace. Check the frame and the mounting feet before you commit.
