The same Italian-made Galtech Q45 monoblock valve, factory-fitted with genuine Galtech on/off solenoid operators so you can run it from a switch, relay or radio remote instead of standing at the levers. Every powered bank keeps a manual override handle – if you ever lose power, you never lose control.
Ways to buy:
- Off the shelf: pick 1, 2 or 3 spools and your coil voltage below. Every bank is solenoid operated with manual override.
- Mixed banks (some electric, some manual), 4+ spools, or electric-over-air – call us, we build these to order.

How to choose
- Voltage: match your machine battery – 12V for most utes, trucks and plant; 24V for larger trucks and industrial gear.
- Wiring: each bank needs two wires (A and B direction) plus common – the DIN plugs are included on the coils. See the wiring diagram in the photo gallery.
- Radio remote? Pair this valve with one of our wireless remote kits – call us and we will wire the receiver channels to match your bank count.
Technicians Advice
On/off solenoid valves like this are perfect for tippers, tailgates, winches, log splitters and any job where you flick a switch and the ram goes. They are not proportional – the oil is either flowing or it is not – so if you need feathering control for a crane or grab, talk to us about proportional options instead.
Fuse each coil circuit at 5A, use marine-grade connectors anywhere near the weather, and if your run from the battery is over 5 metres, go up a wire gauge – low voltage at the coil is the number one cause of lazy solenoid valves we see in the workshop.
