Replacement gear pumps for compact hydraulic power packs – the pressure balanced tang drive pumps fitted to the Mocen-pattern DC and AC power units we sell, plus the petrol power unit pump. The displacement is stamped into your pack code, so matching the pump takes ten seconds.

Fitting a pump: wind the relief right out, fill the tank, jog the motor to prime, then set the relief against a gauge – never run a dry gear pump against a dead-head, the first two seconds decide its life. These pumps are handed for the standard power-unit rotation; if you are adapting one to anything else, confirm rotation before bolting it on – run a gear pump backwards and it blows its own shaft seal. If the old pump ate itself, flush the tank and lines and fit a new magnetic drain plug before the new pump goes in, or the swarf finishes the new one inside a week.
