How to choose

• Match the range to your circuit: 0-400 bar covers most mobile machinery; 0-700 bar for piston pumps, jacking and hammer circuits; 0-100 bar for charge pressure, suction/return and pilot circuits.
• Best resolution and gauge life comes from working in the middle of the range, not at the top of it.
• Add a 2 m or 4 m Test 20 hose to read from the cab or a safe distance.
• No test ports on the machine? Add test points from the dropdown – they thread into your ports permanently.

Technicians Advice

Use peak hold to find what is actually killing your hoses – set it, cycle the function hard over relief, and read the spike. It is routinely 20-30% over the gauge pressure you see steady-state, and that number is what your components are living with. Do not leave a digital gauge plumbed into a vibrating circuit permanently: connect through a test point and hose when you need a reading, then pull it off.

On hammer and fan-drive circuits that pulse, the hose itself damps the needle-snap that destroys gauges. And check the battery before a day of commissioning – a flat cell mid-test costs more time than it should.
