An air motor does what an electric motor cannot: run wet, run dusty, run in an explosive atmosphere, and stall all day without burning out. Feed it shop air and it turns. Stall it against a jammed load and it simply stops, waits, and starts again the moment the load frees – no trip, no smoke, no starter to replace.

Globe vane motors are the workhorse version of that idea. Sixteen models from 0.44 kW up to 10.2 kW, reversible, infinitely variable on speed and torque just by throttling the air, and available foot mounted or on a NEMA or IEC flange so they drop straight onto a standard gearbox. Compact piston and compact vane ranges, ATEX versions, gearboxes, brakes and silencers are all available to order.
