
These are the universal connectors for the large ASA Series axial oil coolers, and they are sold one at a time. A single cooler needs two of them, one for the inlet and one for the outlet, so order quantity 2 per cooler. Getting that wrong is the most common ordering mistake on this part, and a cooler with one connector cannot be plumbed. Pick your port size below, set the quantity to 2, and it is on its way.

NG 32 and NG 40 are the ASA frame sizes. Match the frame size of the connector to the connector face on your cooler, then choose the port thread you want to plumb into.

Two things sink these joints.
The first is PTFE tape on a BSPP connector. BSPP is a parallel thread that seals on the face, on an O-ring, and tape does nothing there except stop the connector seating square and shed shreds into your return line.
Fit it dry, check the O-ring is clean and evenly seated in its groove, wipe a little clean system oil on it so it does not roll as the joint closes, and pull the fasteners down progressively side to side rather than torquing one corner home first. These are aluminium castings, so firm and even beats hard: over-torque distorts the sealing face and once that face is not flat the O-ring cannot save it.
The second is weight. These are big coolers on big hose, and a 1-1/2 inch line full of oil is heavy. If the connector thread is carrying that weight, plus the whip of a machine working, the joint will eventually weep or the boss will crack. Clamp the hose within about 300mm of the connector so the run is supported before it reaches the cooler, and leave a slack loop so thermal movement and vibration are absorbed by the hose rather than the port.
While you are there, think about the air. An ASA Series cooler needs a clear path on both faces, not just the front, and the depth of clear space behind the fan matters as much as in front of the core.
Box one into a cabinet or push it up against a wall and the fan simply recirculates its own hot discharge, the air-on temperature climbs, and the cooler quietly stops working while everything looks correctly installed. Re-check both connectors after the first heat cycle, and if you fitted the sandwich plate remember it adds another joint face to check as well.
Remember: two connectors per cooler. One for the inlet, one for the outlet.
