These are high quality Imported double acting cylinders.

Sizes are common AG style that easily interchange with many other AG type ram brands.
This 5" bore cylinder has a super strong and stiff 2" High Tensile Chromed Rod.
It has dual 3/4" uno ports and a female clevis at each end for easier and more flexible installation and hose fitting.

These 5" bore rams are the only cylinders to come with stronger 1.1/4" diameter High tensile Steel clevis pins.

• As with all cylinders and rams, the longer the stroke, the less force / pressure can safely be applied without buckling.

Single Acting Use
This cylinder can also be used a Single acting cylinder ;
To assist in preventing the ingress of contamination we recommend
at a minimum the installation of a breather plug into the air side cylinder port.
Connecting a hose from the air side back to the oil reservoir can further
increase cylinder life & is highly recommended.

IMPORTANT Note: If the load (in ton) you are looking push is more than the number indicated on the chart you will have to move up in bore or rod size or add another Cylinder.

• The values are based on a safety factor of 2 with the cylinder operating vertical and fully guided.
• For horizontal or operating in an arc these values may have to be reduced.

• K1045 threaded cast steel rod clevis is secured to piston rod with a grub screw and nylon insert as well as LOCTITE ® 243™.
• One-piece K1045 cast steel base end cap allows easy modification for special mounts.
• 1-1/4" inch diameter K1045 Zinc plated clevis pins with lynch pin for added security.
