How to choose
- A plug fills a female port or fitting; a cap covers a male end. Male thread showing = you need a cap; open hole = you need a plug.
- Measure the thread outside diameter and match it to the size column – the dash number in brackets is the thread size in 1/16ths of an inch.

Technicians Advice
UNO seals on the O-ring at the port chamfer, never on the thread. Oil the ring, run the plug down until the ring touches, then torque modestly – the washer face bottoming is your stop. A dry or pinched O-ring is behind nearly every "leaking UNO plug" we see.
