Taipan HPBV Handle Kit – genuine part
The genuine Taipan handle kit – lever, fixing bolt, star washer and flat washer – for HPBV 2-way and HPBV3 3-way valves. On a service truck a handle is a consumable; keeping one in the toolbox turns a dead valve into a five-minute fix.

The cheapest repair in hydraulics
A ball valve with a snapped lever is almost always a perfectly good valve – the ball, seats and stem are unharmed, because the handle bent instead of the stem. A replacement handle is a five-minute fix at a fraction of the cost of the valve, and nothing like the cost of draining the circuit to change it. Technician’s advice
Each kit covers a band of valve sizes – check the table before ordering. Seat the handle fully on the stem flats and fit the supplied hardware. If the stem flats are already rounded, the handle will not grip; replace the valve.
