How to Identify Your Coil or Plug

• Measure the hole: 31.4mm = CETOP 5 (this listing). 23mm = CETOP 3 - see our CETOP 3 listing.
• Coil length 63.2mm, outside diameter 74.0mm.
• Voltage: for 110V/240V AC supply use the 99V/198V DC coil with a rectifier DIN plug.

Technicians Advice

If a 3-position valve stops centring, check BOTH coils before condemning the valve - a shorted coil can back-feed. Measure coil resistance: a 12V DC coil should read roughly 4-8 ohms; open circuit means dead coil, near-zero means shorted. Fit the DIN plug gasket - most coil failures start as water ingress at the plug.
