Wall mounting is the cheapest maintenance you will ever do. A lance left on the ground picks up grit through the nozzle, and that grit goes straight back through the pump the next time someone pulls the trigger with the lance below the water line in a puddle. Mount the holder high enough that the nozzle cannot reach the floor when the lance is hung, and angle it nozzle-down so it drains. On the wand hoses: they fail at the swivel end, not in the middle, because the operator rotates the wand and the hose winds up. If you are replacing one more than once a year, add a swivel at the gun and the problem usually disappears. And when you cut and bend your own lance tubing, deburr the bore - a lip left inside the tube will chew the nozzle seat within a week.
