Product Details

Pressure Washer TP10 Hi-Lo Half Lance

A dual lance gives the operator two jobs off one wand - full pressure for cutting, and a low pressure chemical setting, switched by twisting the head or pulling the collar. No stopping to swap nozzles, no walking back to the machine. Half lances are the short version for confined work and vehicle interiors. All current stock.

Technicians Advice

The Hi-Lo head is the part that fails, and it fails from being switched under pressure. The head is meant to be twisted or pulled with the trigger released; do it with 4,000 psi flowing and you shear the internal spool, usually after a few hundred cycles. Train the operator to let go, switch, then squeeze - it doubles the life of the lance.

Thing people get wrong: the low pressure setting only draws chemical if the injector downstream can see the pressure drop. If your machine has a downstream injector and the lance still will not draw, the problem is almost always a blocked injector filter or a nozzle that is too small, not the lance. And do not run a dual lance with an undersized nozzle to get more pressure - all you do is raise the bypass and cook the pump.
